The arrival of the new Porsche Cayenne in Can Tho, ordered by a local businessman as a wedding gift for his daughter, has sparked interest online. However, the story doesn’t end there as the generous father also spent billions on a special license plate.

Specifically, the license plate 65A-555.55 was auctioned off earlier this year and sold for VND 2.8 billion. The total cost of this extravagant wedding gift could be nearly VND 10 billion, an incredibly lavish gesture by the wealthy boat enthusiast from Can Tho.

The Porsche Cayenne itself is estimated to be worth VND 6.5 billion, featuring a sleek black exterior and a bold red interior. The 2024 model maintains the classic Porsche Cayenne design with subtle enhancements. The front of the vehicle showcases a redesigned hood and Matrix LED headlights, available as standard or HD Matrix LED as an option. The rear features a distinctive 3D design for the taillights, with the license plate integrated into the bumper.

The Cayenne’s cockpit boasts a fully digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster, a standard 12.3-inch central display for easy operation, and a 10.9-inch screen for front passengers, a first for Porsche.

The standard Cayenne is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, optimized to deliver 260 kW (353 PS) and 500 Nm of torque, an increase of 10 kW (13 PS) and 50 Nm over its predecessor.
