Recently, both tourists and locals in Phu Yen Ward, Dak Lak Province, were surprised to spot a rare Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster cruising through the area. This limited-edition convertible supercar is one of only two such vehicles in Vietnam.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster and its owner likely escaped the heat of Ho Chi Minh City to enjoy the coastal breeze of Dak Lak. The supercar was spotted at a well-known street-side chicken rice shop in Phu Yen.

Compared to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Coupe, the new Roadster stands out with its removable hardtop made of carbon fiber, divided into two easily detachable pieces. The owner can open the roof by releasing latches located behind the headrests. The process takes over 20 seconds, and the carbon fiber roof panels are stored in the front bonnet.

Only 800 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadsters were produced worldwide, and two of them are now in Vietnam: one in yellow and the other in orange, as featured in this article.

In the US market, this convertible supercar is priced at $573,966, or approximately VND 13.32 billion. In Germany, it costs €487,866, or about VND 13.2 billion. However, in Vietnam, the car costs over VND 30 billion with diplomatic plates, and the price would exceed VND 60 billion with regular registration.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 759 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed ISR gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.

This convertible supercar accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, just 0.1 seconds slower than the Coupe version. It can reach 0 to 200 km/h in 8.8 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h.
