One of the first McLaren models to arrive in Vietnam, the 650S Spider is a stunning convertible supercar with an aerodynamic design and a price tag of up to billions of VND upon its arrival.
In Vietnam, there are only a handful of McLaren 650S Spider cars, and those with the Liberty Walk tuning package are even rarer. The car featured in this article is the second McLaren 650S Spider in the country to receive this renowned tuning package from Japan.
This stunning supercar boasts a yellow and green exterior with a carbon fiber exhaust system in green, upgraded by the owner. The car also features the Fi Volcano Conversion Kit exhaust system, inspired by the limited-edition 600LT.
Compared to the first McLaren 650S Spider with the Liberty Walk package, this car has some distinct differences in its exterior. Notably, the hood of the car is made entirely of carbon fiber, taking inspiration from McLaren’s hypercar, the P1.
Additionally, the front and rear bumpers and side skirts have been replaced with carbon fiber parts, adding to the car’s sporty aesthetic.
Despite the extensive and expensive modifications, the engine of this McLaren 650S Spider Liberty Walk remains unchanged. It is powered by the same 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 641 horsepower. Coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, the McLaren 650S Spider can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 328 km/h.
