The LaFerrari is an incredibly advanced car for its time, remaining relevant to this day. Firstly, it marks Ferrari’s first venture into the electric car market, and secondly, it’s a true supercar with blistering speed, both in straight lines and around corners, as well as limited production.

This mid-engined hybrid machine entered production in Maranello, Italy, in 2013 with a fixed-roof design. Ferrari discontinued the LaFerrari (Coupe) in 2016, which is when the LaFerrari Aperta, with its swan doors instead of butterfly doors, was introduced. Both share a platform with the FXX-K and Daytona SP3, boasting the same alluring design and potent powertrain.

Ferrari continued producing the LaFerrari Aperta until 2018, when the model officially left the assembly line. If you recall, only 499 LaFerrari Coupes were ever made, and the LaFerrari Aperta is even rarer, with just 210 units produced.

The car pictured above is one of these 210 units, first registered in November 2018. It’s now looking for a new owner and is being sold by a used car dealership in Germany, home to many prized supercars.

This car has an odometer reading of approximately 300 kilometers, indicating it’s virtually unused. It’s presented in Nero Daytona Metallic with an all-black leather interior.

Despite its partial electrification, this car retains the naturally aspirated V12 engine formula. The 6.3-liter gasoline engine produces 789 brake horsepower and 516 pound-feet (700 Nm) of torque. The HY-KERS system includes an electric motor that generates 161 horsepower.

The total system output is 949 horsepower. The LaFerrari in the convertible configuration can reach speeds of over 350 km/h and takes less than three seconds to reach 100 km/h.

With such a rare supercar, one can often find a handful of these seeking new owners at any given time. So, whether you prefer the Coupe or the Aperta, they’re usually just a few screen taps or mouse clicks away. Just like this peculiar example that’s currently up for sale.

If you have some insight into the world of expensive supercars, you know that a car like this is worth millions of dollars. But Mechatronik GmbH, a used car dealership, has priced this black example with red accents at a life-changing €6,902,000.

At the current exchange rate, that equates to nearly $8.1 million, and that amount should be more than enough to satisfy one’s thirst for speed with a dozen or so supercars from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Rolls-Royce, but only one Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta.
