Recently, social media was abuzz with images of a special extended version of the VinFast VF 9, named the “Lac Hong 900 LX” adorning the rear of the vehicle.
According to some sources, this VinFast VF 9 is limited to only 62 units, with 12 of them featuring bulletproof capabilities rated at B6-level protection, capable of withstanding AK-47 gunfire.
Compared to the standard VF 9, the Lac Hong 900 LX boasts an extended wheelbase and a unique mid-door design, often seen on limousines.
The VF 9 Lac Hong features a sleek black exterior with a prominent vertical grille, adding a sense of grandeur. The front LED light bar is streamlined, while the low-mounted headlights contribute to the vehicle’s robust appearance.
The golden “V” emblem adorns various parts of the vehicle, including the C-pillar, wheels, steering wheel, and headrests, emphasizing its special edition status.
Inside, the passenger compartment is completely separated from the driver’s cabin by a fixed partition made of premium wood and equipped with privacy glass, ensuring a tranquil environment. The rear seats are designed in a business class style, featuring leg rests, independent heating and cooling functions, and a four-zone climate control system for optimal comfort.
This luxurious SUV is equipped with a 15.6-inch central display, two dedicated rear screens, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, an Alcantara headliner, premium electric curtains, and a panoramic sunroof.
While VinFast has not yet confirmed the technical specifications, powertrain options, or distribution plans for the Lac Hong 900 LX, if the bulletproof capabilities are verified, it will be one of the few luxury SUVs in Vietnam to offer such a high level of protection.
