Lexus has unveiled a mid-life cycle update for its luxury crossover, the RX, with some notable enhancements.

The highlight is the introduction of the all-new RX 450h+ Premium plug-in hybrid, starting at $66,680 (1.75 billion VND), offering customers a more accessible entry point into electrified vehicles.

RX 450h+ Premium boasts an impressive list of features, including a power liftgate, panoramic sunroof, 21-inch alloy wheels, NuLuxe synthetic leather-trimmed front seats with heating and ventilation, a heated steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch central display, and a 12-speaker audio system.

Alongside the new model, Lexus has also upgraded standard equipment across the entire RX lineup. Notably, wireless phone charging has been added, addressing a previous shortcoming of this luxury crossover.

For the sportier F Sport Handling and F Sport Performance variants, Lexus offers an exterior package inspired by last year’s Black Line special edition. This package includes a choice of paint options such as Ultra White, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Incognito, and Caviar, complemented by 21-inch black wheels and striking orange brake calipers. The interior features a black theme with gray stitching for a bolder, more dynamic look.

The Lexus RX 2026 is powered by a range of powertrain options:

The RX 350 is equipped with a 2.4L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 275 horsepower and 429 Nm of torque.

The hybrid variants, RX 350h and RX 500h, combine a gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 246 horsepower and 316 Nm of torque, and 366 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, respectively.

The range-topping RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid utilizes a 2.5L gasoline engine, three electric motors, and an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, resulting in a combined output of 304 horsepower and an all-electric range of up to 61 km.

The Lexus RX 2026 starts at $51,175 (1.34 billion VND), including destination charges. This price represents a $600 (15.7 million VND) increase over the previous model year.
