“V-Green and FPT Retail Sign MoU to Develop Electric Vehicle Charging and VinFast Motorcycle Battery Swap Stations at FPT Shops Nationwide in 2025”

On August 26, 2025, V-Green and FPT Retail signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the development of electric vehicle charging stations and VinFast motorcycle battery swap stations at FPT Shop outlets across Vietnam this year.

According to the agreement, V-Green and FPT Retail will deploy electric vehicle charging stations and VinFast motorcycle battery swap cabinets at FPT Shop outlets nationwide. The collaboration will take the form of franchising or leasing space for installation.

Depending on the actual conditions of each location, the two parties will calculate and optimize the installation of electric vehicle charging stations or motorcycle battery swap cabinets, with the aim of commencing operations from November 2025. With FPT Retail’s extensive network of stores across provinces and V-Green’s professional operations, this partnership will maximize convenience for VinFast electric vehicle users, especially in the central areas of major cities.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh, Vice President of V-Green, shared: “Our collaboration with FPT Retail is a new step forward, helping V-Green rapidly expand its charging network and enhance the experience for VinFast vehicle owners. With our combined strengths, V-Green believes it will soon achieve its goal of becoming one of the largest electric vehicle charging infrastructure developers in the world, contributing to a greener future for all.”

Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh, Vice President of FPT Retail, affirmed: “FPT Retail has always been a pioneer in innovation and creating sustainable value for the community. Our partnership with V-Green is not only a business opportunity but also a way for FPT Retail to demonstrate its social responsibility. We are proud to contribute directly to the green transition and join the government in striving towards the Net Zero target by 2050.”

With strong government and community commitment to the green transportation transition, V-Green has been actively developing infrastructure to serve VinFast electric vehicle owners. In addition to providing 150,000 charging ports for cars and motorcycles in 34 provinces, V-Green will continue to deploy VinFast motorcycle battery swap cabinets, targeting 150,000 swap points in the next three years. Furthermore, V-Green will also implement a franchising model for motorcycle battery swap cabinets, similar to the approach taken for electric vehicle charging stations, to rapidly increase the density of swap points nationwide. These efforts will promote green transportation and provide convenience to users.
