“VinFast Announces Strategic Partnership with Plugsurfing, a Leading Electric Vehicle Charging Service Provider in Europe”
VinFast is proud to announce its strategic collaboration with Plugsurfing, one of the leading electric vehicle charging service providers in Europe.
This partnership empowers VinFast customers with access to an extensive network of over 1 million public charging points across 24 countries via the VinFast app, offering seamless and convenient mobility experiences throughout Europe.
With a decade of experience, Plugsurfing has established a vast partner network, providing over 2 million customers with access to Europe’s largest electric vehicle charging network. In VinFast’s key markets of Germany, France, and the Netherlands alone, the network boasts over 550,000 charging points.
As per the agreement, owners of VinFast VF 6 and VF 8 vehicles will be provided with new charging cards, free of charge, to replace their current ones. Charging history and account balances will remain intact, ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining all accumulated benefits.
The collaboration with Plugsurfing addresses one of the most significant barriers in the European electric vehicle market—the fragmentation of the charging infrastructure due to multiple providers and platforms. This agreement also underscores VinFast’s commitment to accompanying consumers on their journey towards adopting green transportation and marks a significant milestone in its European expansion strategy.

In Europe, VinFast currently distributes two smart electric vehicle models: VF 6 (segment B) and VF 8 (segment D). The company is actively expanding its network of dealerships, distributors, and aftersales services in France, Germany, and the Netherlands. VinFast collaborates with reputable partners such as ATU (Germany), Norauto (France), LKQ (the Netherlands), and Fixico to provide standardized repair and maintenance services across the region, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and long-term development in the European market.
