The Molsheim-based automotive manufacturer recently celebrated the European debut of the Bugatti Brouillard by showcasing it at Wheels Marienwaerdt in the Netherlands. Interestingly, a Dutch billionaire commissioned this one-of-a-kind Bugatti Brouillard, making it a truly unique creation.
The all-new Bugatti Brouillard is a bespoke masterpiece, essentially a fixed-roof variant of the limited-edition W16 Mistral. While it shares the iconic W16 chassis from the Chiron, also used in models like the Centodieci, W16 Mistral, Divo, and Bolide, it boasts numerous distinctive features. This makes it a singular revival of the brand’s previous-generation hypercar, sharing the same powerhouse engine.
Powering the Bugatti Brouillard is the iconic 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, delivering a staggering 1,577 horsepower and 1,177 kilowatts. This remarkable vehicle pays homage to Ettore Bugatti’s beloved horse, featuring unique design elements that celebrate this connection.
Beyond the signature horseshoe grille, the Brouillard showcases intricate horse embroidery on the seats and door panels, along with a handcrafted Brouillard statue encased in a special glass compartment on the gear shift. These details unmistakably evoke the spirit of a racehorse.
The Bugatti Brouillard may very well be the final model to house the legendary W16 engine, as the brand transitions into a hybrid era with the electrified Tourbillon. This latest supercar features a Cosworth-designed, naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 engine, supported by three electric motors.
