On August 26, 2025, V-Green and FPT Retail signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on developing a network of electric car charging stations and VinFast electric motorcycle battery swap stations across FPT Shop’s nationwide retail chain within 2025.
Under the agreement, V-Green and FPT Retail will deploy electric vehicle charging stations and VinFast electric motorcycle battery swap cabinets at FPT Shop locations nationwide. The partnership will operate on a franchising or lease basis for installation.
Depending on the specific conditions of each location, both parties will optimize the installation of electric vehicle charging stations or battery swap cabinets, with operations expected to commence by November 2025. Leveraging FPT Retail’s extensive store network across provinces and V-Green’s professional operational capabilities, this collaboration will maximize convenience for VinFast electric vehicle users, particularly in major city centers.

With strong commitments from both authorities and citizens to the green transportation transition, V-Green has been actively expanding its infrastructure to support VinFast electric vehicle owners. In addition to deploying 150,000 charging ports for electric cars and motorcycles across 34 provinces, V-Green aims to establish 150,000 battery swap points for VinFast electric motorcycles within the next three years. Furthermore, V-Green will introduce a franchising model for battery swap cabinets, similar to its electric vehicle charging station franchising approach, to rapidly increase swap point density nationwide. This initiative will accelerate the green transportation transition and enhance convenience for users.
