According to the plan, the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P will officially launch in the Vietnamese market on October 24, 2025. This marks the brand’s first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model to be officially distributed in the country.

Dealer information reveals that the first batch of Lynk & Co 08 units arrived in June 2025 for testing, certification, and preparation for display across nationwide showrooms. Initially scheduled for mid-October, the launch event was postponed to late October to ensure seamless organization.

Positioned in the D-segment SUV category, the Lynk & Co 08 targets dynamic, eco-conscious consumers seeking a blend of luxury and sustainability. It will be offered in two variants, priced between VND 1.4 billion and VND 1.5 billion.

Built on the CMA Evo platform—shared with Volvo and Geely models—the 08 promises the refined performance and driving dynamics expected of premium SUVs.

Its hybrid powertrain pairs a 1.5L turbo engine with dual electric motors and a 39.6 kWh battery, delivering 345 hp and 580 Nm of torque. Despite weighing nearly 2 tons, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.

Official figures claim fuel efficiency of 1.3 L/100 km, with a combined range of up to 1,400 km on a full tank—some tests even exceeded 1,800 km. In pure electric mode, it covers up to 200 km.

Measuring 4,820 mm long, 1,915 mm wide, 1,685 mm tall, and riding on a 2,848 mm wheelbase, the 08 adopts a sporty coupe-SUV design. Signature features include extended LED headlights, T-shaped daytime running lights, and bold air intakes. Standard models feature 18-inch wheels, while premium variants upgrade to 21-inch alloys.

The minimalist interior prioritizes user experience with a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital cluster, HUD, 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and ventilated, heated, massaging front seats.

Safety highlights include advanced ADAS features such as active lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and a 540-degree surround-view camera system.

The Lynk & Co 08 EM-P signifies a new chapter for the Chinese brand in Vietnam, spearheading its expansion into premium electrified vehicles during 2025–2026.
