Nissan Teases All-New Navara Design Ahead of Launch

This marks the successor to the Navara D23, which has been in production for over a decade since its initial launch in 2014, with an upgrade in 2020.

According to Nissan, the new-generation pickup truck will blend the best design elements from its predecessors with cutting-edge technology and versatile performance, catering to the diverse needs of today’s users.

The teaser image highlights a distinctive vertical LED daytime running light strip at the front, setting it apart from the segmented DRL design of the Triton. The low-mounted main headlights remain, optimizing illumination efficiency. At the rear, the “C”-shaped LED taillights lend a modern and sporty aesthetic.

The Nissan Navara 2026 is rumored to share components like the cabin, hood, doors, side glass, and rear wheel arches with the Triton, though Nissan will redesign the bumpers, lighting system, and grille entirely.

While interior images remain undisclosed, the teaser reveals a start button on the center console, hinting at a more modern and comfortable cabin experience.

Speculation suggests the 2026 Navara will be built on the same platform as the third-generation Mitsubishi Triton, under the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance’s technical partnership. However, Nissan emphasizes that the Navara will maintain its unique identity, with significant design and performance distinctions.

The Navara 2026 is expected to feature a 2.4L turbocharged diesel engine, delivering 204 horsepower and 470 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, the rear suspension may switch to a leaf spring system, replacing the previous coil springs, to enhance load capacity and off-road durability.

Nissan representatives stated that the new Navara will introduce significant changes to differentiate it from the Triton, both in appearance and driving experience. Full details will be revealed at the global launch event in November.
