Isuzu has officially launched the 2026 mu-X in the Southeast Asian market. The vehicle is available in four variants, with prices ranging from 1,194 to 1,759 million baht (approximately 957 million to 1.4 billion VND).

The Isuzu mu-X 2026 boasts dimensions of 4,850 mm in length, 1,870 mm in width, and 1,875 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,855 mm.

The exterior design of the mu-X 2026 in Thailand closely resembles the version currently sold in Vietnam, except for the RS variant, which features a chrome-plated grille and new wheel patterns for easier identification.

In this latest upgrade, Isuzu Thailand has discontinued the Elegant 3.0 and Ultimate 3.0 variants, along with the Etna Red and Iceberg Silver exterior colors. Instead, the focus has shifted to enhancing competitiveness by introducing a range of convenience and safety features across all variants, from standard to premium.

The entry-level mu-X Active has received notable upgrades, including automatic headlights, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, and a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster.

The Elegant variant inherits the upgrades of the Active and adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic braking when a vehicle crosses the path.

The Ultimate variant offers a 360-degree camera, electric power steering, 20-inch two-tone wheels, interior ambient lighting, and a 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat, bringing the vehicle closer to the premium SUV segment.

The sporty RS variant stands out with its unique design, featuring a black grille, exclusive 20-inch wheels, off-road driving mode, and rugged off-road accents.

In Thailand, customers have two diesel engine options:

The first is a 2.2L 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 163 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, more powerful than the 1.9L engine (148 hp, 350 Nm) available in Vietnam. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
The second is a 3.0L 4-cylinder diesel engine delivering 187 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and offers either 2WD or 4WD options, exclusively available on the RS variant.
