The public auction of coveted license plates has made it easier for enthusiasts to own their desired plates. After nearly two years, these plates now have attractive auction prices, with many starting at just 40 million VND.
For instance, the license plate 98A-891.89 was auctioned off for only 40 million VND. This plate features a sequence of 8s and 9s, symbolizing wealth and longevity, and is now registered to an Aston Martin DB11 V8.
This 2022 Aston Martin DB11 was initially registered in 2024 and sold after only 1,300 km on the odometer. The new owner acquired it for over 13 billion VND, saving nearly 6 billion VND compared to its original price.
Aston Martin maintains its traditional door handle design for its latest models, including the DB11 V8. To open the door, one must press the unlock button on the key fob and then use a finger to press the door release button, causing the handle to pop out.
The Aston Martin DB11 V8’s 45-degree swan doors reveal a luxurious interior featuring premium materials such as expensive leather, aluminum, and carbon fiber. This particular model boasts a two-tone blue and white interior, with an exterior painted in a stunning emerald green, reminiscent of British racing cars. Black accents and dual-tone black and white multi-spoke wheels further enhance its sporty aesthetic.

The Aston Martin DB11 offers two engine options: a renowned V12 and a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 produced by Mercedes-AMG. Vietnamese owners of the V8 model benefit from a reduced special consumption tax. This V8 engine delivers an impressive 510 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque.
Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, the DB11 V8’s power is sent to the rear wheels, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 301 km/h.
