Vietnamese tycoon Minh Nhựa recently captured attention by sharing images of a black Lamborghini Urus SE, potentially the first of its kind to arrive in Vietnam.

The photo, posted on the plastics industry entrepreneur’s personal Facebook, reveals the Lamborghini Urus SE in a setting resembling the service area of Lamborghini Hanoi. It’s likely a custom-ordered unit awaiting delivery. If confirmed, this would mark the first Urus SE registered in Vietnam.

The Lamborghini Urus SE is the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant of the renowned high-performance SUV. Introduced in Vietnam in late 2024, it starts at approximately VND 15.6 billion, significantly higher than the previous Urus S model.

Design-wise, the Urus SE stands out with its redesigned LED headlights and aerodynamic enhancements. The revised underbody cladding boosts engine cooling airflow by 15%, while overall cooling efficiency improves by 30% compared to the standard model. These upgrades not only optimize performance but also accentuate Lamborghini’s signature sporty aesthetic.

Powering the Urus SE is a hybrid system combining a twin-turbo V8 engine (620 hp, 800 Nm) with an electric motor (192 hp, 483 Nm), delivering a combined output of 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque. A 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery and 8-speed automatic transmission complete the setup. This configuration enhances acceleration while aligning with Lamborghini’s electrification strategy.
