As we step into Q4/2025, the automotive market is gearing up for the year-end transition, prompting several car manufacturers to roll out promotional programs for their older models.
Suzuki stands out as one of the few brands still holding inventory of 2024 models, primarily the Jimny imported from Japan.
According to dealership reports, the Suzuki Jimny is now available with discounts ranging from 95 to 100 million VND, including a “100% registration fee” waiver and complimentary periodic maintenance. After applying these promotions, the actual selling price of the Jimny drops to approximately 689 million VND, a significant reduction from its original listed price.
The Suzuki Jimny, officially launched in Vietnam in April 2024, is a compact off-road SUV, comparable in size to an A-segment city car. Its dimensions are 3,480 mm in length, 1,645 mm in width, and 1,720 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,250 mm. Its boxy, rugged design evokes the spirit of larger off-road vehicles. Some dealerships even offer body kits inspired by the Mercedes-Benz G-Class to enhance its rugged appeal.
The Jimny’s cabin is designed with simplicity and practicality in mind. Key features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Other amenities are basic, such as fabric seats, manual handbrake, manual air conditioning, manually adjustable side mirrors, and no rear air vents.
Powering the Jimny is a naturally aspirated 1.5L gasoline engine, delivering 102 horsepower and 130 Nm of peak torque. The 4-speed automatic transmission, though not cutting-edge, aligns with the vehicle’s philosophy of simplicity and durability, typical of traditional off-road models.
