Recently, an image of a car garage in Hanoi went viral on social media, quickly capturing the attention of car enthusiasts nationwide. Among the vehicles, a new-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost Series I luxury sedan stood out prominently.

This Rolls-Royce Ghost Series I features a sleek black exterior and a luxurious tan leather interior. Since its debut in 2009, the Rolls-Royce Ghost has targeted young entrepreneurs and a market segment previously dominated by the Bentley Flying Spur and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, offering a competitive alternative to the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Over its 12-year market presence, the Rolls-Royce Ghost has consistently led the brand’s sales charts. To elevate its appeal, the second-generation Ghost was unveiled in September 2020, followed by a mid-life upgrade.

The pricing for this new-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost remains undisclosed. However, initial units in Vietnam were priced at 45 billion VND, later adjusted to 43 billion VND. This second-generation model features a black exterior, a color widely praised by automotive experts and enthusiasts as the most fitting for Rolls-Royce vehicles.

The Illuminated Fascia is a standout feature in the new Rolls-Royce Ghost, located on the passenger-side dashboard. It showcases the glowing “Ghost” inscription alongside 850 LED-crafted stars, a masterpiece developed by Rolls-Royce engineers over two years and assembled in 10,000 hours.

Beyond the Illuminated Fascia, the Ghost boasts LED headlights, Pantheon grille, and a redesigned Spirit of Ecstasy emblem. The second-generation model also enhances performance, though modestly.

The 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost in Vietnam is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine, delivering 563 horsepower—a 1 hp increase over its predecessor—and a torque boost of 70 Nm, totaling 850 Nm.

Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Ghost accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h in 4.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 249 km/h.
