For those residing in North and South America, as well as on certain neighboring islands, the ocelot is a creature that frequently enters conversations, much like bears in Eastern Europe. This medium-sized wild cat is an apex predator in its habitat, but above all, it’s a master of camouflage, thanks to its golden-brown fur adorned with black rosettes that render it nearly invisible in the dense Amazon rainforest.

As impressive and enigmatic as the ocelot may be, the automotive industry has never acknowledged it—simply because there’s no connection between this feline and four-wheeled vehicles. Until now, that is, with German automaker Porsche unveiling the 911 GT3 Touring Ocelot.

Introducing the 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Ocelot: Inspired by Colombia’s Fiercest Predator

Did you know that Germans often employ a special customization program called *Sonderwunsch*, which typically creates one-of-a-kind vehicles tailored to any customer’s desires? In the case of the Ocelot, that customer is Porsche itself, which crafted this car as a commemorative piece.

Porsche Latin America, headquartered in Miami, is responsible for this project, marking its 25th anniversary this year. To celebrate this milestone, the company personalized the 2025 911 GT3 Touring in the *Sonderwunsch* style, transforming it into a unique vehicle—one of many more to come in the future.

Like most *Sonderwunsch* projects, the Porsche remains mechanically identical to its siblings, but its exterior and interior are designed to honor one of the planet’s most biodiverse regions: Colombia’s Amazon rainforest.

Thus, the car’s exterior is painted in an exclusive Forest Green Metallic shade. This color evokes the *canopy layers, shadows, and endless light of the rainforest*. It’s also a vibrant hue that appears different depending on the angle of the light.

But this exclusive green isn’t the only color visible on the 911’s body. Throughout, Porsche incorporates Centenaire Silver accents, reminiscent of the style of 1960s 911s.

These accents can be seen on the tower-shaped taillight frames, rear wing, door handles, side mirror caps, rear grille trim, and the manufacturer’s logo. They even appear, alongside the primary color, on the car’s cast aluminum wheels.

However, the most ocelot-inspired details are revealed when you open the Porsche’s doors and step inside. There, you’ll find a Cohiba Brown leather interior, mimicking the wild cat’s fur, accented with Crema and Truffle Brown stitching.

The sports seats take it a step further, featuring black-and-white Pepita fabric in the center. Yet, the most striking homage to the ocelot is on the headrests: the silhouette of the animal is embossed on each seat, in the same shape and size that Colombian drivers often see on local road signs warning of wildlife crossings.

On the left front seat, Porsche has equipped a unique steering wheel with Cohiba Brown leather and a Truffle Brown 12 o’clock marker. To complete the look, matching tones have been chosen for subtler details, including floor mats, seat belts, and interior trim.

Thus, the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Ocelot is the most exclusive *Sonderwunsch* project commissioned by Porsche Latin America, meaning we’ll never know its production cost or what will happen to the car after its unveiling.

But we do know what it signifies for Latin America, as the Ocelot is the first product from the German automaker in a larger project called *Iconos de Latinoamérica*. I’m referring to a collection of cars (number unspecified) that will be personalized and designed to celebrate the *culture, flora, fauna, and unique traditions* of the continent.

To ensure everyone understands the Ocelot’s place in this collection, Porsche has affixed the Porsche Latin America logo on the car’s B-pillar, accompanied by the special inscription *’Iconos de Latinoamérica’

Additionally, when opening the driver’s side door, the illuminated door sill displays the GT3 logo alongside the text *’30 Años de Autoelite’* (referencing the 30th year of official Porsche imports in Colombia). When opening the passenger’s side door, the text changes to *’25 Años de Porsche Latin America’*.
