Recently, the luxurious Aston Martin DB12 sports car was spotted cruising the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, revealing a highly meaningful license plate. The owner had sought this specific plate, 83A-238.63, through an auction, securing it for just 40 million VND—a mere fraction of the car’s value.

However, this plate holds immense significance for the owner, as 23863 represents their birthdate: 23/8/63, with the last two digits of the year included. This Aston Martin DB12 joins the collection of vehicles owned by a prominent consumer industry entrepreneur, whose fleet already includes a Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years and a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, all featuring the number sequence 23863. The owner is known for their extensive collection of luxury and vintage cars, often seen driving them around the city.

The Aston Martin DB12 sports a stunning light blue exterior, exuding elegance and sophistication. Complementing this are carbon fiber accents, black trim, and silver dual five-spoke wheels. At first glance, its design closely resembles that of the DB11.

Designed to celebrate Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary, the DB12 is an enhanced iteration of the DB11, first introduced in 2016. Notable upgrades include a redesigned front bumper, a larger grille, and prominent air splitters beneath the bumper. The car also features striking LED headlights.

The interior has been completely redesigned, featuring a state-of-the-art infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. An 11-speaker sound system comes standard, with an optional upgrade to a premium 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins setup. Additional customization options include Sports Plus seats, Carbon Fiber Performance seats, and trim choices of aluminum, wood, or carbon fiber.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, the Aston Martin DB12 delivers an impressive 671 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h.

The performance enhancements are attributed to optimized compression, larger turbochargers, and an improved cooling system, ensuring the DB12’s exceptional acceleration and top speed capabilities.
