In November 2025, Vietnam’s automotive market will welcome several new models, including the enhanced versions of the luxury sedans Volvo S90 and XC60. These updates mark a mid-life refresh for both vehicles.
Volvo S90
Launched in April 2025, the new Volvo S90 features subtle design and equipment upgrades. Most notably, its exterior draws inspiration from the latest Volvo XC90.

Specifically, the 2026 Volvo S90 boasts the signature Thor’s Hammer LED matrix headlights, complemented by a more pronounced T-shaped LED daytime running lights that extend into the widened grille. The grille features new cross-hatched chrome accents, reminiscent of BMW designs.

New two-tone machined alloy wheels, a redesigned hood, and updated wheel arches are also part of the package. The 2026 S90 introduces two new exterior colors: Aurora Silver and Mulberry Red.

Inside, Volvo has equipped the S90 with a new 11.2-inch central touchscreen that protrudes from the dashboard, replacing the previous flush-mounted design. This screen runs Volvo’s latest user interface and supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

The powertrain for the Vietnamese market remains unconfirmed. Internationally, the S90 offers a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system with an all-electric range of up to 80 km (WLTP), as well as a mild hybrid option featuring a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with front-wheel drive.
Volvo XC60
The updated Volvo XC60 debuted internationally in February 2025. Like the S90, it receives minor updates to the grille, wheels, exterior colors, interior features, and infotainment system.

Unfortunately, the powertrain remains unchanged. In the U.S., the XC60 continues with the B5 mild hybrid system, featuring a 2.0L four-cylinder engine producing 247 hp. The T8 PHEV option offers a combined output of 455 hp, while the European market gains a T6 PHEV variant with 345 hp.

The 2026 XC60 retains its previous engine options.
Pricing for the new Volvo S90 and XC60 in Vietnam remains undisclosed.
