November 2025: Mazda Vietnam Launches Exclusive Promotions, with Mazda CX-5 Leading the Way in Discounts.
According to dealership reports, the 2025 Mazda CX-5 is now available with a staggering discount of up to 40 million VND, coupled with a complimentary accessory package. Select dealerships are sweetening the deal further by offering an additional 10 million VND in cash, bringing the effective price down to just 699 million VND. This positions the CX-5 as the most competitively priced option in the mid-size SUV segment as 2025 draws to a close.
These aggressive incentives make the Mazda CX-5 an irresistible choice for buyers seeking a spacious, well-equipped, and cost-effective mid-size SUV. Not only does this pricing strategy challenge direct competitors in the C-segment, but it also encroaches upon the territory of compact SUVs like the Kia Seltos, Mitsubishi Xforce, and Toyota Yaris Cross.
The Mazda CX-5 has long been a staple in Vietnam’s mid-size SUV market, thanks to its youthful design, robust features, Japanese brand reliability, and extensive dealership network. VAMA data reveals that the CX-5 dominated the segment in the first 10 months of 2025, selling 12,900 units and capturing approximately 50% of the mid-size SUV market share, further cementing its leadership in this fiercely competitive category.
Offered in six variants with two engine options, the CX-5 caters to diverse preferences. The base model features a naturally aspirated 2.0L engine producing 154 hp and 200 Nm of torque, paired with front-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the premium variant boasts a 2.5L engine delivering 188 hp and 252 Nm of torque, complemented by a full-time all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
