For many service drivers, the 7-seat VinFast Limo Green MPV is a more cost-effective choice in every aspect compared to gasoline vehicles, while its features and performance significantly outperform competitors.

Features and Performance That Outshine Competitors

Vietnam’s October 2025 car sales rankings once again featured VinFast, with a record-breaking delivery of over 20,000 vehicles. The Vietnamese automotive brand is poised to secure the top position for 2025, having delivered more than 124,000 vehicles to date—triple the number of the former long-time leader, Toyota.

Among VinFast’s 20,000 October sales, the 7-seat Limo Green MPV stood out with 4,160 units sold, dominating its segment and outselling its closest competitor, the Xpander, by 1.5 times. The Limo Green’s impressive appeal comes as no surprise, as it was predicted to redefine the service vehicle market upon its launch.

This prediction resonated with many service drivers, including Mr. Kiên, a driver for Xanh SM in Đắk Lắk, who recently placed a deposit on a Limo Green after a test drive. He praised the vehicle’s exceptional build quality and driving experience, which solidified his decision to choose this 7-seat model from the Vietnamese brand.

“It’s incredibly stable and powerful—nothing more to ask for,” Mr. Kiên remarked after testing the Limo Green on various routes. He was particularly impressed with the multi-link rear suspension system, a feature absent in competitors like the Xpander. This system ensures a smooth and stable ride, even on rough roads with potholes. Additionally, the superior soundproofing minimizes fatigue for both passengers and drivers during long journeys.

The efficient air conditioning system is another significant advantage for service vehicles. “Its ability to cool even the third row of seats is crucial for passenger comfort,” he added.

Mr. Kiên also praised the Limo Green’s range on a single charge. During a test drive with three passengers and a full trunk, using the Normal driving mode, the vehicle covered over 440 km on mixed roads—a figure closely aligned with official tests.

In a recent test by Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Hải of Lên Xe TV, the Limo Green’s range was pushed to its limits on a trip from Hanoi to central Vietnam. The results were astonishing, with the vehicle achieving up to 526 km on a single charge—far exceeding the manufacturer’s claimed 450 km range.

This extended range is a major advantage for drivers, allowing them to confidently accept long-distance trips. Furthermore, VinFast’s extensive charging network, with over 150,000 stations in major cities and remote areas, ensures convenience and peace of mind for both drivers and passengers.

Savings of Millions on Fuel and Maintenance Costs

The Limo Green not only performs well but also offers excellent cost efficiency, according to many service drivers. Mr. Bảo from Ho Chi Minh City, one of the first to order the 7-seat MPV, previously drove a Toyota Vios and later a VF 5 for his service. Switching to an electric vehicle has saved him millions monthly, as he no longer spends on fuel. His Vios consumed 7-8 liters per 100 km, costing him a significant amount each month. With VinFast’s free charging policy, this expense is now zero.

Internal combustion vehicles also incur frequent maintenance costs. “Maintaining a Vios costs at least 2-3 million VND, sometimes even 4-5 million VND. Since service vehicles wear out faster than personal cars, maintenance becomes a substantial expense,” Mr. Bảo recalled. With the Limo Green, these costs are significantly reduced, allowing him to maximize his earnings.

When VinFast launched the Limo Green, Mr. Bảo immediately planned to upgrade to the 7-seat model to meet the growing demand in Ho Chi Minh City. “On weekends, 9 out of 10 long-distance trip requests are for 7-seat vehicles. Even small groups of 2-3 passengers often prefer 7-seat cars for extra space, luggage, or pets,” he explained.

This shift not only expanded his customer base but also increased his earnings, as 7-seat trips command 20-30% higher fares. “The Limo Green is clearly more efficient than gasoline vehicles in the same price range, thanks to its suitability for long trips and higher trip volume,” he concluded.

Drivers partnering with Xanh SM enjoy an unprecedented revenue share of 90% for the first three years and 85% for the following two years. With higher earnings and lower costs, many drivers estimate a payback period of just two years for the Limo Green.
