Variant List Price Discounted Price

Latest Mitsubishi Destinator pricing in Vietnam (unit: VND)

At this price point, the Mitsubishi Destinator becomes one of the most affordable options in the mid-size SUV segment. Compared to the segment leader, the Mazda CX-5, the Destinator starts 10 million VND cheaper. Meanwhile, the Destinator Ultimate is a whopping 171 million VND more affordable than the top-tier variant of the Mazda CX-5. This pricing strategy gives the Destinator a significant competitive edge in the market.

Positioned as the 7-seater version of the Xforce, the Mitsubishi Destinator is also a fully imported model from Indonesia. It boasts dimensions of 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. Additionally, it offers a ground clearance ranging from 214 to 244 mm and a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters.

The Mitsubishi Destinator is the mid-size SUV successor to the Outlander.

The Destinator is essentially the production version of the Mitsubishi DST Concept, first unveiled in 2024. Compared to the concept, the Destinator’s design remains largely unchanged. Its exterior also shares many similarities with its sibling, the Mitsubishi Xforce.

Specifically, the mid-size SUV features a honeycomb grille with vertical slats, layered headlights, hockey stick-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a hexagonal air intake with fog lights integrated into the front bumper.

Moving to the side, the vehicle showcases prominent character lines, black plastic wheel arch cladding, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear features “T”-shaped taillights, mirroring the front design. The hexagonal tailgate, inspired by the spare tire of the Mitsubishi Pajero, emphasizes its rugged SUV identity. A hands-free power tailgate is available on the top-tier variant.

Inside, the Destinator offers a three-row cabin with a 2-3-2 seating configuration. The second row features a 40:20:40 split-folding design with a center armrest and cup holders, while the third row offers a 50:50 split-folding arrangement.

Unsurprisingly, the interior design echoes that of the Mitsubishi Xforce. Standard features include heat-absorbing leather seats, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 6-speaker sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air vents, a nanoe X air purifier, electronic parking brake, and Auto Hold.

The Ultimate variant adds a 6-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, an 8-speaker Yamaha sound system, and the Mitsubishi Connect smart vehicle connectivity system.

Regardless of the variant, the Destinator is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Fuel efficiency is rated at 6.2 L/100 km. Driving modes include Tarmac, Standard, Wet, Gravel, and Mud, along with active yaw control, MacPherson strut front suspension, and a rear torsion beam setup.

The Mitsubishi Destinator is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine.

Safety features include six airbags, tire pressure monitoring, cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a reverse camera, and front/rear parking sensors. The top-tier variant adds a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, automatic headlights, forward collision warning/mitigation, lane departure warning, and front departure alert.

With its combination of competitive pricing, robust features, and Xforce-inspired design, the Destinator is poised for success in the Vietnamese market, helping Mitsubishi reclaim its position in the mid-size SUV segment—a feat the Outlander failed to achieve.
