The Honda ICON e: electric scooter launched in Vietnam in April 2025 with a starting price of 26.4 million VND. However, Vietnamese customers can now snag this e-scooter for just 20 million VND during the final month of 2025.

Specifically, in December 2025, many dealerships are offering discounts of 5-8 million VND on the Honda ICON e:. This brings the actual selling price down to 20-21 million VND, a significant drop from the listed price of 26.9-27.3 million VND.

It’s important to note that the above prices do not include the battery. When purchasing the scooter without a battery, customers must pay an additional 350,000 VND per month for battery rental. Opting for the Honda ICON e: with a battery requires an extra 10 million VND.

In Vietnam’s highly competitive electric scooter market, the Honda ICON e: initially lacked a price advantage. Compared to rivals like the VinFast Evo Grand (21 million VND) and Yadea Oris (23 million VND), both of which come with included batteries, the Honda model was significantly pricier. Therefore, Honda dealerships’ substantial price cuts to boost year-end sales come as no surprise.

The ICON e: marks Honda’s first electric scooter produced in Vietnam. As it doesn’t require a license, Honda positions it as an ideal choice for students aged 16 and above.

The Honda ICON e: is an electric scooter tailored for students and young riders.

The Honda ICON e: boasts a youthful design and compact dimensions, perfectly suited to the Vietnamese physique, especially students. It features a low seat height of 742 mm, a ground clearance of 132 mm, and a lightweight build of 89 kg.

Additionally, this electric scooter comes equipped with notable features such as always-on LED headlights, integrated taillights and turn signals, a minimalist logo, a spacious flat footrest, a 26-liter under-seat storage compartment, two front storage compartments, a USB Type A phone charging port, an LCD digital instrument cluster, and a combined CBS braking system.

Powering the Honda ICON e: is a rear-wheel-mounted motor delivering a maximum output of 1.5 kW and peak torque of 85 Nm. The 30.6 Ah lithium-ion battery, IP67 water-resistant and located beneath the footrest, provides a range of 50 km and a top speed of 49 km/h.

Conveniently, users can charge the battery directly on the scooter or remove it for charging. The battery’s top surface features a rubber handle for easy carrying and indicator lights to monitor charging status. Charging times are 7 hours 20 minutes from 0% to 100% and 3.5 hours from 25% to 75%.

The Honda ICON e:’s handlebars incorporate a sensor to detect throttle inputs. Riders can choose between two driving modes: Standard and ECO.

Honda offers a 3-year warranty with unlimited mileage for the ICON e: in Vietnam.
