Recently, a private motorcycle dealership has introduced the first batch of the 2026 Yamaha 135LC to the country.

Imported from Malaysia, this model is priced at over 100 million VND, significantly higher than other sporty underbone bikes in the same segment, such as the Yamaha Exciter 155 (starting at 44.8 million VND) and the Honda Winner X (starting at 46.16 million VND).

The Yamaha 135LC measures 1,945 x 690 x 1,095 mm in overall dimensions, with a wheelbase of 1,255 mm. Compared to the Exciter 155, it is 10 mm shorter, 25 mm wider, and 10 mm taller. The bike weighs 109 kg, has a seat height of 775 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 4.6 liters.

The design of the 2026 Yamaha 135LC remains largely unchanged from its predecessor, with updates limited to new paint colors and decals.

The 2026 Yamaha 135LC is available in three standard colors: Aqua Blue, Sand Storm, and Moss Green, along with a special Red Titan variant. The Red Titan edition features an additional storage compartment on the rear rack, equipped with a waterproof Type-C charging port.

The bike features LED headlights similar to the 2019 Yamaha Exciter 150, taillights from the Exciter 155, 17-inch wheels borrowed from the 125ZR, and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Currently, the 2026 Yamaha 135LC does not come with ABS, despite both front and rear disc brakes. The suspension system includes telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear.

Powering the bike is a 135 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC engine, delivering 12.47 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 12.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine meets Euro 4 emission standards and is paired with a 4-speed gearbox, without a manual clutch.

The Yamaha 135LC is considered the successor to the Exciter 135, a model discontinued by Yamaha Vietnam in 2014. In Malaysia, Yamaha currently offers three sporty underbone models: the 135LC, Y15ZR (equivalent to the Exciter 150), and Y16ZR (equivalent to the Exciter 155).
