Recently, a private motorcycle shop in Tay Ninh has brought the 2026 Honda Dream 125 to Vietnam, imported from Cambodia.
The bike is being offered for sale at over 100 million VND, a price comparable to that of a genuine Honda SH350i.
The Honda Dream was once an iconic moped in Vietnam but ceased distribution in 2017. Despite this, the model retains a strong appeal among motorcycle enthusiasts, particularly those passionate about classic Dream variants. In Cambodia and Myanmar, the Honda Dream continues to be produced and sold under the name Dream NCX.
The 2026 Dream NCX imported to Vietnam retains its familiar design. Measuring 1,868 × 697 × 1,051 mm and weighing 98 kg, it shares dimensions with the 2025 model. Notable updates include a platinum-gold decal scheme and Rumdul flower motifs on the front cowl. The lighting system features a classic headlamp, turn signals, and a tail lamp, all upgraded to full LED technology.
The braking system remains traditional drum brakes on both wheels for ease of maintenance and authenticity. It features 17-inch spoked wheels, telescopic front forks, and adjustable rear shock absorbers based on load. The reinforced steel frame is coated with anti-rust treatment, suitable for Southeast Asian climates.
The 2026 Honda Dream maintains its classic analog gauge cluster, refreshed with modern plastic trim. It retains a traditional key ignition, while the seat lock is conveniently located at the rear.
Powered by a 125cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with PGM-FI fuel injection, the Vietnam-imported model comes with a 4-speed gearbox. The Cambodian market offers an additional 5-speed option.
Given its premium price and minimal design changes, the Cambodian-imported 2026 Honda Dream caters primarily to Dream enthusiasts and collectors rather than the general market.
