Pickup Truck Sales in November 2025 (Unit: Vehicles)
Ford Ranger: 2,040 Units
In November, Vietnamese consumers purchased 2,040 Ford Rangers, marking the first time this pickup truck surpassed the 2,000-unit milestone in 2025. This achievement solidifies the Ford Ranger’s position as the segment leader and one of the best-selling vehicles in Vietnam’s automotive market.

Ford Ranger
This impressive result can be attributed to the Vietnamese auto market entering its peak season. Additionally, the Ford Ranger’s appealing design, extensive features, and diverse variants offer Vietnamese customers a wide range of choices.
Priced between 707 million and 1.306 billion VND, the Ford Ranger offers two engine options. The first is a 2.0L single-turbo diesel engine with 167 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The second is a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine delivering 207 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are available with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the variant.
Mitsubishi Triton: 469 Units
Similar to its rival, the Mitsubishi Triton enjoyed a successful month with 469 units sold, a 6.3% increase. This performance propelled it to second place in the pickup truck segment, surpassing the Toyota Hilux.

Mitsubishi Triton
The Mitsubishi Triton stands out with its attractive design, comprehensive features, and competitive pricing (ranging from 655 to 924 million VND). Throughout 2025, the model also benefited from official discounts worth tens of millions of VND.
Powering the Mitsubishi Triton is a 2.4L twin-turbo diesel MIVEC engine. In the 2WD AT GLX and 2WD AT Premium variants, it produces 184 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. The 4WD AT Athlete variant delivers 204 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the variant.
Toyota Hilux: 401 Units
Unlike its competitors, the Toyota Hilux experienced a decline in November 2025, selling 401 units—a 23.1% drop—and falling to third place in the segment.

Toyota Hilux
The Toyota Hilux is available in three variants, priced between 668 and 999 million VND, comparable to its rivals. Its strengths include a reputable brand, proven durability, and strong resale value.
The Hilux is powered by two 4-cylinder diesel engines. The first is a 2.4L engine producing 144 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The second is a 2.8L turbocharged engine delivering 201 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission and either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the variant.
Isuzu D-Max: 50 Units
The Isuzu D-Max remained at the bottom of the pickup truck segment in November 2025, selling only 50 units—a 39.7% decrease from the previous month.

Isuzu D-Max
Priced between 650 and 880 million VND, the Isuzu D-Max is the most affordable pickup truck in its segment. However, its design and brand reputation remain significant drawbacks.
The Isuzu D-Max is equipped with a 1.9L 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
