British luxury car brand Jaguar has marked a historic milestone as the final internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle rolls off its production line.

This event is not just a technical landmark but a bold statement that Jaguar has officially ceased production of gasoline and diesel vehicles, fully committing to its rebranding strategy as an all-electric automaker in the near future.

The honor of being the last ICE vehicle produced by Jaguar falls to the F-Pace SVR, a high-performance SUV that has become an emblem of power. This model boasts a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine, delivering over 550 horsepower.

According to the manufacturer, this final F-Pace SVR will not be sold to the public. Instead, it will be entrusted to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust for preservation and display. This move is a tribute to the brand’s illustrious history, rooted in pure mechanical engineering, from elegant sedans to legendary sports cars that dominated racetracks worldwide.

The decision to halt all ICE production is part of Jaguar’s comprehensive restructuring strategy. The brand is set to enter a period of market silence, preparing for a spectacular comeback. The next generation of Jaguar vehicles will be all-electric (EV), built on a new, dedicated architecture. The company aims to penetrate the lower luxury segment, targeting premium customers with groundbreaking design, futuristic technology, and electrified performance as its core values.
