Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) Hosts Ceremony to Receive First-Class Labor Order at Toyota Vietnam Plant in Phu Tho Province.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from central and local government agencies, including the People’s Committee of Phu Tho Province, the Department of Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM), esteemed partners, and all TMV employees.

Since its establishment, Toyota has remained steadfast in its commitment to sustainable development and the advancement of the automotive industry. In 2025, marking its 30th anniversary, Toyota Vietnam achieved remarkable milestones as the first automaker to deliver 1 million vehicles to customers and produce 700,000 units. With its extensive dealership network, Toyota has become a trusted companion for the people of Vietnam.

Beyond production and business operations, TMV considers social responsibility a cornerstone of its sustainable development strategy. Over the past 30 years, TMV has initiated numerous community contributions across education, traffic safety, culture, social welfare, and environmental protection, enhancing the quality of life in local communities and establishing itself as a responsible corporate citizen. Additionally, TMV consistently ranks among the top contributors to local budgets, underscoring its long-term commitment to Vietnam as a responsible FDI enterprise.

These sustained efforts led to the President’s recognition and the awarding of the First-Class Labor Order to Toyota Vietnam for its outstanding achievements in production, business, contributions to the state budget, social welfare, and economic development in Phu Tho Province and Vietnam.

Acknowledging Toyota Vietnam’s contributions, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu, Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho People’s Committee, stated: “Today, I am delighted to join leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and various departments at the ceremony honoring Toyota Vietnam with the First-Class Labor Order. As one of the most proactive FDI enterprises, Toyota has significantly contributed to the national automotive industry’s growth and the impressive economic and budgetary achievements of Vinh Phuc Province (formerly) and Phu Tho Province post-merger.”

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Nakano Keita, General Director of Toyota Vietnam, remarked: “Receiving the First-Class Labor Order is not our final goal but a new milestone that inspires us to strive harder. Guided by our vision of ‘Providing freedom of mobility for all,’ Toyota is committed to delivering exceptional products and services that exceed customer expectations.”

In addition to the First-Class Labor Order, on December 24, 2025, Mr. Nakano Keita received the “For the Cause of Vietnam’s Industry and Trade Development” Memorial Medal at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, recognizing his significant contributions to the sector’s growth.
