At the Vietnam Mobility Show 2025, held from December 26th to 28th at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), VinFast emerged as the centerpiece, unveiling the largest and most comprehensive green mobility ecosystem at the event.
Strategically positioned at the heart of the exhibition, VinFast’s 600 m² booth captivated visitors with its modern design language, seamlessly integrated with a massive LED screen and column system, immersing attendees in a futuristic, tech-driven environment.
The star of the show was the Lạc Hồng 900 LX, Vietnam’s new automotive icon. This ultra-luxury vehicle, the first of its kind inspired by indigenous cultural values, has graced state ceremonies welcoming international dignitaries to Vietnam.
The Lạc Hồng 900 LX exudes majesty with its vertical grille inspired by bamboo and a gold-plated Lạc bird emblem adorning the hood. From its sleek LED strips to the overall front fascia, every design element pays homage to the intricate patterns of Dong Son bronze drums, symbolizing a deep connection to Vietnam’s heritage.
With dimensions exceeding 5.3 meters in length and a 3,349 mm wheelbase, the Lạc Hồng 900 LX is a behemoth. Its standout feature is the VPAM VR7 ballistic protection package, a rigorous standard reserved for vehicles transporting world leaders.
To achieve this certification, the vehicle underwent independent testing at Beschussamt Ulm in Germany. It withstood 440 rounds from NATO rifles (7.62 x 51 mm) and 11 DM51 grenade explosions beneath and above the vehicle. Despite the onslaught, the passenger compartment remained intact, emergency exits functioned, and the vehicle retained mobility to escape the threat zone.
Despite its heavy armor, the Lạc Hồng 900 LX delivers impressive performance with dual electric motors generating 455 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. Its 123 kWh battery ensures a range of approximately 450 km on a single charge.
The cabin is a sanctuary of opulence, featuring Golden Nanmu wood, Nappa leather, and gold accents. Privacy is paramount, with a partition separating the passenger compartment from the driver’s area, soundproof glass, and electric curtains. The executive seats offer heating, cooling, 10-way adjustability, and a leg rest. Entertainment is elevated with a bespoke 13-speaker Audison sound system, delivering an audiophile-grade experience.
