Asia has long been recognized as a pivotal market for sports and supercar brands, alongside Europe and North America.
In this context, Aston Martin chose Japan as the debut location for the Aston Martin Valhalla, the brand’s first high-performance supercar in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Valhalla is the result of a technical collaboration between Aston Martin and the F1 team Red Bull Racing. Its design language blends sleek, signature aesthetics with cutting-edge aerodynamic solutions.
The handcrafted carbon fiber monocoque chassis by Aston Martin, paired with a body shell engineered by Red Bull Racing, optimizes the vehicle’s weight to just 1,550 kg. Equipped with an active aerodynamic system featuring F1-inspired DRS functionality, the Valhalla generates up to 600 kg of downforce at 240 km/h.
Powering the Valhalla is a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine, complemented by three electric motors (two at the front axle and one integrated into the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission). This hybrid system delivers a combined output of 1,079 horsepower, propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 350 km/h. Notably, its 6.1 kWh battery enables an all-electric range of 15 km at speeds up to 140 km/h, ideal for urban commuting.
Unlike its sibling, the Valkyrie, the Valhalla’s interior is designed for daily usability while retaining a sporty essence. It features dual 10.25-inch digital displays (instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment), intuitive controls, and a cabin clad in carbon fiber and Alcantara. The race-inspired bucket seats offer a low seating position reminiscent of professional F1 racing.
Limited to just 999 units globally, over half of the Valhalla production had been claimed by mid-2025, despite its premium pricing. In Japan, it starts at 128.9 million Yen (approximately 21.62 billion VND). Owners can further personalize their vehicles through Aston Martin’s bespoke Q division, ensuring each car is a unique masterpiece.
