December 2025 marked a historic milestone in Vietnam’s automotive industry, with VinFast achieving an all-time monthly sales record of 27,649 electric vehicles delivered to customers. This remarkable performance in the final month of the year contributed to an unprecedented annual total of 175,099 VinFast electric vehicles sold in Vietnam, cementing the brand’s dominance for the 15th consecutive month.
VinFast’s 2025 sales figures shattered all previous records for vehicle sales by a single brand in Vietnam, nearly doubling the previous records held by foreign automakers. This achievement not only highlights the exceptional quality and value VinFast offers, which have been enthusiastically embraced by consumers, but also underscores Vietnam’s emergence as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for electric vehicles.
VinFast’s diverse lineup dominates every segment, from compact vehicles tailored for individuals and young families, such as the VF 3 (44,585 units), VF 5 (43,913 units), and VF 6 (23,291 units), to luxury SUVs designed for business professionals and larger families, including the VF 7 (9,653 units), VF 8, VF 9, and the ultra-luxurious Lạc Hồng series.
Models optimized for commercial services, such as the Limo Green (27,127 units) and Herio Green (12,568 units), have also significantly contributed to VinFast’s overall success, demonstrating the brand’s strategic product development and market positioning aligned with diverse customer needs and preferences.
Notably, the Limo Green, launched in August 2025, quickly rose to become the top-selling model in the 7-seater MPV segment. In December 2025 alone, 10,981 Limo Green units were delivered, solidifying its position as the most sought-after vehicle in its class.
