During the recent launch of the new UC3 series, Honda surprised everyone by unveiling the EV Outlier Concept vehicle.

Notably, this is the first time this future-defining concept has appeared in the Vietnamese market after its global debut at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show.

According to Honda, the EV Outlier Concept is more than just a means of transportation; it’s Honda’s solution to redefining traditional values and ushering in a new era for the two-wheeled vehicle industry.

The EV Outlier Concept builds on the foundation of its predecessors, the EV FUN Concept and EV Urban Concept, which made waves at EICMA 2024. At first glance, the vehicle stands out with a design that completely breaks away from traditional motorcycle aesthetics.

However, upon closer inspection, enthusiasts can still recognize the distinctive design language Honda has crafted for its future electric vehicle lineup. Project lead Yuya Tsutsumi emphasized that the vehicle focuses on three core elements: seamless gliding, delivering an exhilarating riding experience, and maintaining an ultra-low center of gravity for optimal stability.

Technically, the Honda EV Outlier Concept boasts a superior operational configuration with two independent electric motors directly mounted on both the front and rear wheels.

The vehicle features an ultra-slim handlebar display paired with a digital screen integrated into the faux fuel tank. Modernity is further showcased through camera-integrated mirrors and seamless connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app. Another standout feature is the double A-arm front suspension system, a technology originally exclusive to the Gold Wing touring flagship, now refined to perfectly suit the structure of this all-electric model.

The appearance of the EV Outlier Concept in Hanoi is not just a display but a bold statement of Honda’s commitment to leading the electric motorcycle market in Vietnam.
