Recently, South Korean automaker Kia unveiled its 2026 EV6 to customers, with pricing starting at AUD 72,660 (approximately USD 48,660) for the base Air RWD model, while the GT-Line RWD variant begins at AUD 79,660 (USD 53,350).
For those seeking all-wheel drive, the GT-Line AWD and GT AWD options are available, starting at AUD 87,660 (USD 58,705) and AUD 99,660 (USD 66,740), respectively. Kia notes a AUD 70 (USD 45) increase across the entire lineup compared to the 2025 model.

A standout feature of the 2026 Kia EV6 is its larger battery pack, boasting an 84 kWh capacity, up from the previous 77.4 kWh.
The vehicle also features a softer front suspension and a stiffer rear stabilizer bar, enhancing driving modes for more precise cornering. This is excellent news for prospective buyers eyeing one of the four available 2026 variants.
The 2026 EV6 benefits from OTA updates across all models, with the Air RWD variant achieving an impressive WLTP range of up to 582 km.
In terms of range, the premium GT-Line AWD can travel up to 560 km on a single charge, while the GT-Line AWD and GT AWD offer ranges of 522 km and 450 km, respectively, all powered by the same 84 kWh battery.
The 2026 EV6 introduces new headlights and daytime running lights, subtle exterior tweaks, 3D taillights, and wheel options ranging from 19 to 21 inches, depending on the trim.
Inside, a standard 12.3-inch dual screen setup combines the central display and digital instrument cluster. The steering wheel is redesigned, inspired by the EV9, and the center console is updated, with fingerprint recognition exclusive to GT-Line and GT models.

On Kia’s U.S. website, the EV6 is listed in Light RWD, Light Long Range RWD, Light Long Range AWD, Wind RWD, GT-Line RWD, Wind AWD, and GT-Line AWD configurations, priced between USD 42,900 and USD 58,900 (AUD 64,045–87,935).
All but the base model share the aforementioned 84 kWh battery, with the most efficient variant achieving an EPA-estimated range of 319 miles (513 km).
