The Mitsubishi Destinator, a brand-new C-segment SUV, made its debut in the Vietnamese market in December 2025. Within its first month of sales, the vehicle achieved remarkable success, securing a spot among the top 10 best-selling cars in Vietnam with an impressive 2,377 units sold. This overwhelming demand has led to a shortage of the Destinator at dealerships.

According to dealership sources, the supply of the Mitsubishi Destinator is limited. Prospective buyers will likely have to wait until after the Lunar New Year to take delivery of their vehicles.

Shortly before this, the Mitsubishi Destinator received a price adjustment at dealerships. The Premium variant is now priced at 745 million VND, while the Ultimate version is available for 820 million VND. Compared to the list price, the actual selling price has only decreased by 35 million VND for both versions. At its launch, the vehicle was offered at a discounted price ranging from 739 to 808 million VND.

In the current C-segment SUV market, the Mitsubishi Destinator stands out with its attractive pricing, undercutting competitors such as the Hyundai Tucson, Ford Territory, Subaru Forester, and Honda CR-V. Its eye-catching design and extensive features further enhance its appeal.

The Mitsubishi Destinator is positioned as a successor to the Outlander, which struggled to gain traction in the Vietnamese market. Additionally, it is considered a 7-seater variant of the Mitsubishi Xforce.

Imported directly from Indonesia, the Mitsubishi Destinator boasts dimensions of 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. These measurements give it a size advantage over its segment rivals.

The Destinator also comes equipped with notable features, including full LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, hands-free power tailgate, leather seats with heat-absorbing reduction technology, 6-way power-adjustable front seats, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, an 8-speaker Yamaha sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air vents, nanoe X air purification, electronic parking brake, and Auto Hold.

Safety features are comprehensive, including 6 airbags, front/rear sensors, tire pressure monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, automatic headlights, forward collision warning/mitigation, lane departure warning, and lead vehicle departure alert.

Powering the Mitsubishi Destinator is a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum output of 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. The vehicle achieves an average fuel consumption of 6.2 liters per 100 km. Driving modes include Asphalt, Standard, Wet, Gravel, and Mud.
