Toyota’s Achievements in 2025
According to data released on January 12, 2026, Toyota maintained its position as the world’s best-selling car manufacturer in 2025, marking six consecutive years at the top since 2020. Specifically, Toyota sold 10.32 million vehicles globally from January to November 2025, significantly outperforming Volkswagen, which sold 8.98 million vehicles in the same period. These sales figures include Toyota’s subsidiaries, Daihatsu (compact cars) and Hino Motors (trucks).
Toyota was the best-selling foreign car brand in Vietnam in 2025.
In Vietnam, Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) reported December 2025 sales of 8,719 vehicles (including Lexus models). Of these, Toyota models accounted for 8,329 units, comprising 3,597 domestically assembled vehicles and 4,732 imported units. This brought the total sales for 2025 to 71,954 vehicles, an 8% increase compared to 2024. These results solidified Toyota’s position as the leading foreign car brand in Vietnam.
In December 2025, TMV’s Hybrid Electric vehicle sales also saw a significant surge, with 1,082 units sold, bringing the total for 2025 to 8,389 units. This positive trend highlights Vietnamese consumers’ growing preference for Hybrid Electric vehicles, which offer fuel efficiency, environmental friendliness, and no change in driving habits.
Toyota Launches Attractive Promotions in January 2026
Building on its 2025 success, Toyota Motor Vietnam, Toyota Financial Services Vietnam, and its nationwide dealership network have announced promotional programs for January 2026.
Promotions for New Car Buyers in January 2026
In January 2026, Toyota Vietnam is offering promotions for four models: Vios, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, and Yaris Cross. The Toyota Vios receives a 50% discount on registration fees, valued at 23-27 million VND, depending on the version.
The Veloz Cross enjoys the highest discount, up to 66 million VND.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio continue to offer 100% registration fee support. The maximum discount for the Veloz Cross ranges from 64 to 66 million VND, while the Avanza Premio offers 56 to 60 million VND. Since their launch in Vietnam in March 2022, the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio have become popular choices for service vehicles, ideal for group transportation and families with ample luggage. The 100% registration fee discount (56 to 66 million VND) combined with low-interest financing options makes these models more accessible for service providers preparing for the Lunar New Year and spring 2026.
The Toyota Yaris Cross offers a 50% registration fee discount for both gasoline and Hybrid versions, saving customers 33-38 million VND.

Toyota’s promotional program for January 2026.
This program runs from January 1 to January 31, 2026, and applies to all customers who complete full payment and receive a VAT invoice from the dealership during the promotion period.
Additionally, in January 2026, customers trading in any used car and purchasing a new Toyota Hybrid model (Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross, or Innova Cross) at T-SURE authorized dealerships can choose one of two promotional packages:
– A one-year Toyota Gold Insurance package; or
– Free maintenance for two years or 30,000 km (whichever comes first).

From January 20, 2026, Toyota Vietnam is introducing new pricing for select Hybrid Electric models (prices include 10% VAT). The discounts are as follows:

Customers need only service their vehicles every 6 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) at authorized Toyota dealerships nationwide to enjoy continuous warranty coverage.

The Toyota Vios receives an extended warranty program for all versions. From January 1, 2026, customers purchasing a Toyota Vios will receive a free one-year or 25,000 km extended warranty (whichever comes first) for the engine and transmission.
Customers need only maintain regular servicing every 6 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) within the manufacturer’s 3-year or 100,000 km warranty period at authorized Toyota dealerships. This program offers unlimited warranty claims and is transferable.
The extension of the warranty to 10 years underscores Toyota’s commitment to product durability and provides customers with peace of mind throughout their vehicle ownership.
