Hyundai has officially launched the all-electric Elexio SUV.
The Elexio is available in a single Elite trim, starting at 59,990 AUD, approximately 1.07 billion VND.
The Hyundai Elexio is a 5-seater SUV with dimensions of 4,615 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,673 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Unlike the design language of the Ioniq series, such as the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, the Elexio adopts a fresh, minimalist, and sporty aesthetic. The front fascia eliminates the traditional grille, opting for large air intakes and a sleek LED strip beneath the headlights.
The side profile features bold character lines around the wheel arches and a blacked-out D-pillar, creating a seamless glasshouse effect. The rear boasts a modern design with a full-width LED light bar and a prominently placed Hyundai logo. The rear bumper incorporates additional graphic elements for enhanced brand recognition.
Inside, the Elexio impresses with a massive 27-inch touchscreen infotainment system, transforming the cabin into a true entertainment hub. The seats are upholstered in premium leather, with the driver’s seat offering 14-way power adjustability and heating/ventilation for both front seats. Additional comforts include a heated steering wheel, a 4-zone independent voice control system, and a high-quality 6-speaker audio setup.
Practicality and connectivity are at the forefront of this electric SUV. It features five USB-C ports and two wireless charging pads, ensuring all devices stay powered. The BlueLink technology and over-the-air (OTA) updates keep the vehicle up-to-date without dealership visits.
Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, the Elexio shares its foundation with other electric vehicles like the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kia EV6, and Genesis GV60.
Powering the Elexio is a front-mounted electric motor delivering 218 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. The standout feature is its 88.1 kWh LFP battery, offering a range of up to 546 km on a single charge. The 350 kW fast-charging capability allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 38 minutes, significantly reducing downtime.
With its robust specifications and competitive pricing, the Elexio is poised to shake up the electric vehicle segment in Australia.
