Striving for a “Better Society”
Implementing the Multi-Pathway Approach
Aligned with the 2050 Net Zero goal, Toyota is advancing its Multi-Pathway strategy, promoting hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) as the ideal solution for Vietnam due to their fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and no need for charging infrastructure.
Toyota announced a $360 million investment to modernize its plant and establish Vietnam’s first HEV production line, demonstrating its commitment to green initiatives and making HEVs more accessible.
Government support, including tax incentives under Decree 360/2025/NĐ-CP, further promotes HEV adoption.
In 2025, Toyota sold 8,389 HEVs across 6 models and 7 variants, a 57% increase from 2024. Since their launch in Vietnam, 22,213 Toyota HEVs have been sold.

In 2025, Toyota launched initiatives such as the Toyota Traffic Safety Program, Tet Tree Planting, Toyota U9 Football Cup, Toyota Concert, Green School Program, Tire Recycling Journey, Toyota Scholarships, Life Jacket Donations, and Flood Relief Support.
