Yesterday, on January 22, 2026, the wedding of Minh Hoàng, son of billionaire Phạm Nhật Vượng, and Phương Nhi, a Miss World Vietnam 2022 runner-up, officially took place. The event garnered significant media attention, partly due to its unique and impressive car lineup.
Instead of the usual luxury cars like Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, or BMW, the wedding of Minh Hoàng and Phương Nhi featured an exclusive fleet of VinFast vehicles. The bridal car was a stunning VinFast VF 9 convertible in a soft pink hue. Its interior, upholstered in burgundy red leather, exuded luxury and beautifully complemented the couple’s attire.

Groom Minh Hoàng personally drove the custom-made VinFast VF 9 to pick up his bride, Phương Nhi, for the traditional wedding ceremony at Trúc Lâm Phụng Thùy Sơn Pagoda on Chín Khúc Mountain in Khánh Hòa Province.

Leading the bridal procession was a vibrant red VinFast VF 8 convertible. Vingroup Chairman Phạm Nhật Vượng himself drove this custom-made VF 8 to escort his son and grandchildren to the bride’s home.
The entire fleet of vehicles for the wedding and traditional ceremony featured VinFast models, including the newly launched VinFast Lạ Hồng 900 LX.

The VinFast Lạ Hồng 900 LX, a luxury SUV, was first unveiled in late August 2025 with two variants: standard and bulletproof. By January 2026, VinFast dealerships began accepting deposits for the standard version. While the official price has not been announced, it is expected to be around 5 billion VND, with a potential 4% direct discount (200 million VND) based on the list price.
The Lạ Hồng 900 LX is a limited-edition model based on the VinFast VF 9 electric SUV, designed to celebrate Vietnamese heritage and culture. It boasts a 3,349 mm wheelbase and striking exterior details, such as a gold-plated logo symbolizing the Lạc bird, a grille reminiscent of the Đông Sơn bronze drum, and parallel slats evoking Vietnamese bamboo groves.
The interior of the VinFast Lạ Hồng 900 LX is crafted with premium materials, including Golden Nanmu wood, Nappa leather, and genuine gold accents. All gold-plated details inside and outside the vehicle are meticulously handcrafted.
Notable features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a central V logo, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, and an Audison sound system with 13 satellite speakers, one subwoofer, and an external amplifier. The rear cabin offers a spacious VIP seat with a footrest, soundproof glass partition, electric curtains, and an intercom system for communication between the front and rear compartments.
Powering the VinFast Lạ Hồng 900 LX are two electric motors delivering a combined output of 300 kW (402 hp) and 620 Nm of torque. Its 123 kWh battery provides a range of up to 595 km on a single charge.
In addition to the custom convertibles and the Lạ Hồng 900 LX, the wedding featured other VinFast models like the VF 8 and VF 9. The procession of VinFast vehicles created a memorable highlight of the celebration.
