Rather than chasing flashy tech that feels disconnected from reality, the Hyundai Palisade 2026 prioritizes user experience to maintain its leadership in the three-row SUV segment.

In an automotive industry overly reliant on touchscreens, the Hyundai Palisade 2026 emerges as a refreshingly practical alternative.

This latest upgrade introduces significant yet subtle enhancements. Hyundai has added standard sound-absorbing glass to the windshield, thickened window glass, and improved floor insulation, resulting in a remarkably quieter cabin.

On the premium Calligraphy trim, front side windows also feature sound-absorbing glass, ensuring a serene environment even at high speeds and facilitating easier conversation between rows.

Instead of eliminating physical controls, Hyundai retains dial knobs for climate and drive mode adjustments, allowing drivers to operate them without diverting their attention from the road. Nonetheless, the SUV incorporates advanced technology, including a familiar 12.3-inch infotainment screen with an intuitive interface. Notably, the Calligraphy trim includes a built-in dashcam capable of recording while parked, detecting collisions and motion, and storing data locally rather than relying on external apps.

The Calligraphy trim continues to receive Hyundai’s special treatment, featuring amenities typically found in luxury vehicles, such as 21-inch wheels, premium Nappa leather seats, calf supports, and “Relaxation” seats with massage functions for the first and second rows. With a starting price just over $57,000 (1.49 billion VND), the Palisade Calligraphy offers a significant competitive edge over premium segment rivals.

Performance-wise, the Palisade 2026 is equipped with a new 3.5L V6 engine delivering 287 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive available as an option. In Sport mode, the throttle and steering responses become more dynamic, catering to family needs and long journeys. Hyundai has also confirmed a hybrid variant for fall, combining a turbocharged 2.5L engine with two electric motors for a total output of 329 horsepower.

Additionally, Hyundai expands its lineup with the Palisade XRT Pro, targeting off-road enthusiasts. This variant includes front and rear tow hooks, an electronic slip-differential lock, a 1-inch lifted suspension, and dedicated off-road drive modes. Accessories like aluminum underbody protection will be available from Hyundai’s official catalog.

The Palisade 2026’s design, features, and human-centric philosophy are evident in details like the second-row armrest facilitating third-row access, high-power USB-C ports, and power-folding seats accessible from the cargo area.

With the Palisade 2026, Hyundai demonstrates its commitment to listening to customers, prioritizing daily usability and practicality over superficial tech trends.
