The world of supercars has long been a clash between two rival British brands, Rolls-Royce and Bentley, each with their own unique features to attract customers. In addition, many other car brands have tried to create luxury car models with designs similar to these two giants, such as the Hongqi H9, known as the “Rolls-Royce of China”.

Recently, an interesting photo captured the moment when a luxury Bentley Mulsanne was parked on the road and the “Rolls-Royce of China” Hongqi H9 appeared next to it. This sight has amazed many people with the beauty of these two car models. Some even voted for both, even though they belong to completely different segments.

Both sedans have an elegant two-tone color scheme. From an aerial view, it can be seen that the Hongqi H9 has a superior design compared to the Bentley Mulsanne, even though there is a huge pricing difference between the two. The Hongqi H9 belongs to the mid-range luxury sedan segment, while the Bentley Mulsanne is a high-end luxury supercar.

This shows that Chinese car designs are quite impressive and keep up with the times. In this photo, the lower half of the Hongqi H9 is painted in dark brown, while the upper half is white. This two-tone combination adds a touch of luxury and sophistication to the car, along with chrome details and double-spoke 20-inch wheels.

The Hongqi H9 models are developed based on the platform of the Audi A6L. The car has a length of 5,137 mm, a width of 1,904 mm, and a height of 1,492 mm. The Hongqi H9 is also referred to as the “Rolls-Royce of China” because its exterior design is reminiscent of Rolls-Royce cars. This is attributed to the fact that the chief designer of Hongqi, Giles Taylor, was formerly the design director of Rolls-Royce.

The interior of the Hongqi H9 is also luxurious compared to its price. The seats are upholstered with premium Alcantara and H-Nappa leather. The car features a 12.3-inch entertainment screen. The 4-seat version includes additional features such as massage functions and a control panel located in the armrest, which can be adjusted up to 120 degrees for the rear seats. Mercedes-Benz E-Class owners can only dream of such features.

The Hongqi H9 Premium 2.0 model is equipped with a mild-hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0L engine combined with an electric motor from Bosch. It produces a corresponding output of 248 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. The car uses a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronic air suspension system.

Meanwhile, the Bentley Mulsanne, a luxury car model, has been discontinued. Its V8, Biturbo engine with a displacement of 6.75 liters, offering a maximum output of 505 horsepower at 4,200 rpm and a peak torque of 1,020 Nm at 1,750 rpm, has also been removed.

This engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Thanks to this powertrain, the Bentley Mulsanne can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.
