Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 Design Unveiled for Sale in Vietnam

In early February of this year, Toyota unveiled an upgraded version of the Corolla Cross SUV in the Thai market. The BIMS 2024 International Auto Show showcased this model and introduced it to the public.

Not long ago, the batch of Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 cars imported from Thailand also arrived in Vietnam, preparing for its launch in May. Dealerships in Vietnam have already started accepting reservations for this model.

A sales consultant at a dealership mentioned that the B+ segment SUV will no longer offer the standard G variant, and only retain the V and HV variants. This change may result in a higher starting price for the Toyota B+ SUV, currently priced at 760 million VND, and create a clearer distinction with its sibling, the Yaris Cross.

In the new version, this B segment SUV has undergone slight design improvements. This can be clearly seen in the front of the vehicle with a new grille design, without borders, reminiscent of some of the newer Lexus models such as the RX or LM. Inside the grille is a honeycomb grille in the same color as the body of the car.

Next is the LED headlight cluster with a new crystal design, divided into two layers by the LED daytime running light strip. The top layer features sequential turn signal lights, while the bottom layer houses the main headlights.

In addition, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 also features new exterior details such as a connecting strip between the headlights, vertical air vents at the two front corners, and new 18-inch alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design, two-tone finish. The overall design of the taillight cluster remains unchanged, but the internal styling has been updated.

Not only the exterior, but the interior of this model has also been improved. Toyota has added some new interior features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen central display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, USB Type C ports, and an electronic parking brake.

In the top-end variants, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 will also have a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof without borders with electric sunshade, wireless phone charging, front/rear dashcams, and interior ambient LED lighting.

As for safety equipment, the vehicle has been upgraded with 4 front parking sensors, 4 rear parking sensors, a collision warning system when parking with brake assist, and a 360-degree camera.

However, the engine options for the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 remain unchanged. The car still offers 2 engine options: a 1.8L 4-cylinder gasoline engine for the standard variant, and a hybrid powertrain with a 1.8L gasoline engine and electric motor, with an average fuel consumption of only 4.3 liters per 100 km.

In the Thai market, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 comes in 4 variants with prices ranging from 999,000 to 1,254,000 Baht (approximately 679 to 852 million VND).
