Prior to the 2024 New Year holiday, Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc hosted a special launch event for the next-generation Santa Fe. Drawing inspiration from the “luxury car” Defender, this mid-size SUV showcases a boxy design that is set to make its debut in the Philippines during the first quarter of 2024.

In the Philippines, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will offer two drivetrain options: a 2.5L turbocharged engine generating 281 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque, and a 1.6L turbocharged hybrid engine producing 230 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

Currently, HMPH is showcasing the new generation Santa Fe, with the exhibition expected to run until January 12th. The displayed vehicle is finished in a striking burnt orange exterior color, one of the six colors available in the Philippines.

First introduced in July 2023, the new generation Santa Fe boasts a completely redesigned and appealing boxy design.

In terms of dimensions, the all-new Santa Fe measures 4,830mm in length, 1,900mm in width, 1,720mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,815mm. Compared to its predecessor, the new SUV is 45mm longer, 10mm taller, and features a 50mm longer wheelbase (width remains unchanged).

Similar to the exterior, the interior of the all-new Santa Fe has undergone a significant upgrade. The dashboard stands out with a pair of high-resolution screens incorporating a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment screen.

Although detailed information about the Santa Fe’s features for the Southeast Asia region is not yet available, in other global markets, the vehicle offers dual wireless charging, interior LED ambient lighting, Nappa leather seats, four-zone automatic climate control, and an intelligent driver assistance system. Lastly, and of equal importance, the Philippines version of the Santa Fe will feature a 7-seater configuration.
