The Aito M9 is a premium SUV model that boasts a range of advanced technologies developed by Huawei. One of its standout features is the integrated screen system, which utilizes the HarmonyOS 4 operating system and two projectors positioned both inside and outside the vehicle.

Aito is a new electric vehicle brand that was jointly established by Huawei and Seres in late 2021. Following the launch of the M5 last year and the M7 earlier this year, Aito has recently unveiled its latest offering in the form of the mid-size SUV model, the M9. This vehicle offers a range of modern features, including cutting-edge technology from Huawei, multiple screens, and dual projectors that deliver a truly cinematic experience.

The exterior design of the Aito M9 is characterized by its modern and luxurious aesthetic, albeit somewhat generic. The standout feature is the high-tech headlights, reminiscent of those found in Huawei’s Luxeed S7 sedan. These advanced headlights are equipped with adaptive LED matrix technology and sensors that can detect pedestrians and oncoming vehicles. What sets this premium SUV model apart is the inclusion of exterior projectors, capable of transforming any surface into a 100-inch screen.

Inside the Aito M9, you’ll find an extensive array of screens, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central infotainment screen, and a 16-inch passenger screen. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 75-inch heads-up display (HUD) screen, four tablets for rear passengers, and a laser projector. The infotainment system is powered by the HarmonyOS 4 operating system, and the car features a 2080-watt 25-speaker sound system with active noise reduction technology.

The interior layout of this Chinese 6-seater SUV model is highly adaptable to suit passengers’ needs. For example, the third row of seats can be folded to create additional storage space or fully reclined to form a single bed. All seats are equipped with electric controls and provide heating and ventilation functions. In terms of safety, the Aito M9 is equipped with 27 sensors and the latest Huawei ADS 2.0 system.

The Aito M9 is slightly larger than the BMW X7, measuring 5,230 x 1,999 x 1,800 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. Despite its sizable dimensions, this SUV model boasts a low drag coefficient of just 0.264 Cd.

The Aito M9 offers two powertrain options. The all-electric version delivers a power output of 523 horsepower and is equipped with a 97.7 kWh battery pack, providing a maximum range of 630 km. Alternatively, the hybrid version boasts a total output of 490 horsepower and is available with a choice of either a 42 kWh or 52 kWh battery pack from CATL. In this configuration, the vehicle can achieve a range of 1,362-1,402 km when fully charged and with a full fuel tank.

The Aito M9 is currently available in China, with prices ranging from 65,726 to 79,717 USD (equivalent to 1.6 – 1.95 billion VND). The car is expected to be delivered to customers in early 2024.
