The Hyundai Creta, a compact SUV and a key model in Hyundai’s investment portfolio in India, is set to receive a mid-life upgrade. Recently, spy photographers have spotted the Hyundai Creta 2024 Facelift test mule during multiple test runs, and for the first time, the interior of this urban SUV has been revealed, showcasing some noteworthy new details.
Leaked Interiors of the Hyundai Creta 2024 Facelift
There were previous speculations that the Creta facelift would feature a dual horizontal screen layout similar to the Seltos facelift. However, in the latest sighting, it can be observed that the dashboard design remains similar to the current version. The digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen are separate, with one located behind the steering wheel and the other placed at the center of the dashboard.
Although the image quality is not high, it confirms the presence of a fully digital instrument cluster, similar to the Seltos facelift, capable of displaying information related to the ADAS system.
In addition to the ADAS system and some updates to the interior materials, the car appears to have a new 2-spoke steering wheel. The climate control panel also seems to have been redesigned. Meanwhile, the infotainment screen is likely to retain its 10.2-inch size.
Regarding the exterior design, the changes include a new front fascia inspired by the Palisade, with vertical headlights and a horizontal LED daytime running strip. The new LED taillights are connected by a slim LED strip, similar to the design found on the Venue model.
The Creta Facelift is expected to feature a new 1.5L petrol engine, similar to the one found in the new generation Verna, replacing the previous 1.4L petrol engine.
This new engine, paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission, delivers 160 horsepower and a maximum torque of 253 Nm, making the Hyundai Creta Facelift more powerful. Additionally, the familiar 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.5L CRDi diesel engine will continue to be offered in the upgraded version.
