Toyota has officially unveiled the FT-Se model at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo. The FT-Se is a high-performance electric sports car that is being introduced as one of the options for sports cars in the carbon-neutral era.
The design of the Toyota FT-Se is modern and aggressive, drawing inspiration from the 2021 GR Sports Concept. The front end features a black grille, large air intakes, and sleek LED daytime running lights. The car’s sharp nose gives it a supercar-like appearance. The sporty wheels and red brake calipers add to the overall aggressive look of the car. The door handles are flat and the side mirrors are small.
The rear of the FT-Se is equally impressive with a fixed wing, slim LED taillights, and a diffuser.
Toyota has also showcased the FT-Se version on the racetrack with a fixed rear wing attached to the rear window.
The interior of the FT-Se is equally impressive. It features a U-shaped steering wheel positioned between two vertical screens that display important car functions and entertainment information. The car also has a digital instrument cluster and Recaro seats covered in blue Alcantara leather.
Toyota has not provided detailed information about the powertrain of the FT-Se, but it has confirmed that it is a fully electric vehicle.
