The price including battery is 1.29 billion VND with SDI battery and 1.367 billion VND with CATL battery. The corresponding figures for the Plus version are 1.47 billion VND and 1.556 billion VND. This price includes the ADAS driver assistance package and Smart Service package worth 132 million VND.

Battery rental costs for VinFast VF8
For customers who deposit to purchase a car before September 1, 2022:
VinFast has 2 battery rental packages for customers to choose from (the battery rental price is fixed for the whole life cycle of the product according to the battery rental price at the time the customer receives the car, regardless of the owner):
- Flexible package: 990,000 VND/month for a distance of 500 km, if using more than 500 km/month, customers have to pay an additional amount equal to the excess distance multiplied by the battery rental rate/km (1,980 VND).
- Fixed package: 2,189,000 VND/month, unlimited number of km/month.
For customers who deposit to purchase a car from September 1, 2022 to April 30, 2024:
Customers have only one option, which is the fixed battery rental package of 4,950,000 VND/month, unlimited number of km.
For customers who deposit to purchase a car from May 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024:

For customers who deposit to purchase a car from July 1, 2024:

Customers do not have to make a deposit when renting a battery if they sign a battery rental contract before November 1, 2024. The battery rental deposit will be refunded to customers when they terminate the battery rental contract, return the battery to VinFast, or transfer the car and battery to someone else. Customers who are depositing for the SDI battery version can pay the price difference to switch to the CATL battery version if desired.
