Recently, information about a 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S sports car being offered for sale for around 5 billion VND has garnered a lot of attention. Interestingly, the car has been refurbished with a fashionable black and gold exterior, and the license plate was also up for auction.

It is known that within a few hours of being listed, this 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S sports car has found a new owner, and if you’re curious to know who quickly snapped it up, it is none other than one of Vietnam’s top car collectors.

This businessperson currently owns more than 10 high-performance sports cars from the Mercedes-AMG brand, including models such as the SL, SLS, and GT.

Prior to this, the individual already had a different Mercedes-AMG GT S model, Edition 1, in their car garage, along with 2 Mercedes-AMG GT R cars and the limited edition Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro supercar.

According to information from the previous seller, this 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S sports car has driven over 13,000 km. It was officially imported in 2015 but took 3 more years to find its owner. The new selling price for this car in Vietnam is 8.26 billion VND, not including taxes and fees.

The Mercedes-AMG GT S sports car is equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters. It generates a maximum output of 510 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and a peak torque of 650 Nm in the range of 1,750 to 4,750 rpm.

The power from the engine is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the Mercedes AMG GT S to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 325 km/h.
