The all-new Nissan Kicks has begun road testing since 2023. Until now, Nissan has finally unveiled the new generation of this B-segment SUV in the North American market.

Exterior Design of Nissan Kicks 2025

In the new generation, Nissan Kicks has undergone a complete design transformation. The vehicle adopts the brand’s new design language, similar to its siblings such as the X-Trail and Almera.

Nissan Kicks 2025 resembles a downsized version of the Pathfinder for the Chinese market

Compared to the previous generation, the exterior of the Nissan Kicks appears more rugged and square. Taking design inspiration from the Nissan Pathfinder for the Chinese market, this B-segment SUV features a wide grille with horizontal slats and incorporates Nissan’s new logo. Surrounding the grille are new dual-tier headlights with slim upper lights and LED daytime running lights with four horizontal strips below. These horizontal details make the front end of the Nissan Kicks 2025 look wider and more imposing. Following that is a new front bumper with a centrally-mounted air intake that houses the sensor box.

On the side profile, we can see sharp straight lines that stretch from the headlights to the taillights. The side of the Nissan Kicks 2025 is flatter than the previous generation but comes with sportier window lines that smoothly connect to the rear windshield. The roof has a gradually sloping design towards the rear in a coupe-style and creates a floating sensation thanks to the black-painted pillars. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with aerodynamically-efficient multi-spoke alloy wheels in the higher-end version.

At the rear, the Nissan Kicks 2025 is equipped with taillights with a similar design to the LED daytime running lights. The taillights are integrated into a small spoiler below the rear windshield. Meanwhile, the upper rear hatch comes with a third brake light.

In the sporty SR version, the Nissan Kicks 2025 will have red accents as highlights, such as red mirror covers, roof, rear spoiler, and shark fin antenna. The front grille and rear tailgate will also feature the red SR logo.

According to Nissan, the new Kicks has dimensions of 4,366 x 1,801 x 1,626 – 1,631 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,657 – 2,664 mm, depending on the version. Compared to the previous generation, the vehicle is longer by 71 mm, wider by 41 mm, and taller by 20 mm, providing a more spacious interior.

In the base version, the vehicle uses two 7-inch screens, while the high-end version is equipped with a pair of 12.3-inch screens.
