According to information from sales consultants, Hyundai Creta will have a new listed price from March.
The best-selling B-segment SUV in Vietnam in 2023 will be reduced by VND 40-41 million depending on the version, bringing the starting price to less than VND 600 million.
Specifically, the standard Hyundai Creta 1.5 AT version will have a new listed price of VND 599 million, equivalent to a reduction of VND 41 million compared to the old price. The advanced 1.5 AT version also has a similar price reduction, bringing the price of the car to VND 699 million.

Meanwhile, the special 1.5 AT version has been adjusted for a price reduction of VND 40 million, currently priced at VND 650 million.

Version Old price (million VND) New price (million VND) Difference (million VND)
Hyundai Creta 1.5 AT Standard 640 599 -41
Hyundai Creta 1.5 AT Special 690 650 -40
Hyundai Creta 1.5 AT Advanced 740 699 -41

Thus, shortly after Mitsubishi Xforce was adjusted by the Japanese automaker to a starting price of VND 599 million, Hyundai Creta was also moved by the Korean car brand to do the same.

At the present time, Mitsubishi Xforce and Hyundai Creta are the two B-segment SUVs with the most accessible price in the segment in the Vietnamese market, both starting at VND 599 million.

Previously, Toyota Yaris Cross was also adjusted in price by Toyota since the beginning of the year, with a maximum reduction of VND 80 million in the version using gasoline engine.
However, this imported SUV model from Toyota is still not a model with a really attractive price in the segment when it is currently listed at VND 650 million for the gasoline version and VND 765 million for the HEV version.

Last year, Hyundai Creta surpassed the Toyota Corolla Cross to become the best-selling B-segment SUV in Vietnam.
Creta’s sales volume reached 10,719 units after 12 months of the past year, just slightly higher than the volume of 10,485 units owned by Toyota Corolla Cross.

In the first month of the new year, Honda HR-V unexpectedly surpassed many strong competitors in the segment to become the best-selling urban SUV.
Honda confirmed that it had successfully delivered 801 HR-V units to Vietnamese customers, helping the model simultaneously surpass the Honda City and Honda CR-V to become the bestselling car of the brand in January.
